The following is a training for use of SiteCore, a Content Management System (CMS) used to update content on the Boston Children’s Hospital external website, http://www.bostonchildrens.org.
In this training, we will be covering:
- Logging in
- Rich Text Editor
- Importing content from Word
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Linking to external sites
- Linking within SiteCore
- Web content best practices
- The Boston Children’s Hospital style guide
- Publishing workflow
Because this system updates potentially sensitive information, it is only to be used while on the BCH network.
Before we begin, please ensure the following:
- you are logged into the Boston Children’s Network
- you are using a compatible browser (FireFox or Chrome only, see below to download them)
